I still can't believe this shirt. Uniqlo comes up with the coolest stuff sometimes! My sister got it for me many years ago in China...I think.
It actually took me a long time to learn about Basquiat's life and artwork, but once I did I was very inspired by him (I'll have to thank my boyfriend for that!). I've always admired graffiti and I like that his roots were in that.
So this was my inspired outfit. I figured the distressed jean vest and leather would give it an 80s feel. Also, my hair is a sad attempt at something Basquiat-like...but for someone with flat lifeless hair, i'll take it!
p.s. I will post more this weekend since I'm moving to LA in a week and might not have internet for a bit!
